So, I got laid-off from my job at the stables back in December via a Text Message! Really pissed off about that, but what can I do about it? Ally decided that she didn't want a Working Student anymore and cut me lose. I think there was something more than that, but whatever...

Now, I can finish school, but I miss the horses, especially Angie. I don't exactly believe that the stables there was the right facility for that horse. *Shrugs*

I have my own little laptop now, but alas, sans Photoshop I don't use the main Desktop anymore because it's so damn slow, but I gotta pay my cousin ten bucks so I can use the mini disk drive that she bought for her computer, then I could upload a Photoshop edition onto my lappy and save up to get an External Hard Drive for pics and music.

Cinnabon Time!!!

I'm taking pictures of the horses at the Equestrian Center that I work at, photoshopping them and compiling them onto a CD for my boss to use. I'm hoping she likes them. Anyway, the three newest ones that I have up were taken yesterday and photoshopped the same day. The Equestrian Center has mostly Andalusians and Arabians with a couple Friesians, a Warmblood (I think, he's a little skinny so I can't tell), and ... we don't know what Cricket is, plus a Percheron mare.

*Sigh* Okay, I know no one reads this but I figured I'd post it anyway. Unfortunately as I was cleaning my cpu unit a little while ago and transferring art and music onto cds so I could get them off my hard drive I made a big mistake. When transferring all my scanned art drawings I didn't properly save the cd and finish it correctly so I lost all my art that I've photo-shopped. Luckily I still had drawings posted on my myspace art album that I have set up so I was able to re-save them from there, but I was still so mad at myself and really upset that I'd lost all that art.

At least I have the original drawings so I'm capable of re-scanning them into the computer and hey, maybe revamping their art colors or something. Still, many hours of hard work Gone... poof... with one clueless click of a mouse button... *Forehead to desk*

Anyway, that is why I haven't really posted anything new because most of my original art isn't on my computer anymore. Luckily, I have all my photo manipulated artwork that I can put up. At least it's something, right?

Okay, for those who come across my page I'm actually not new to DA but I have in fact been a member for several years, I just got tired of my old account and decided that I would make a fresh start (To be completely honest, I thought my old accounts name was just childish now and wanted a more 'mature' sounding username.) If you want to find it, my old account is Katie-Bird-Vyxen. It's kinda icky and cluttered cause I was probably 16 when I started it =>.<= and now that I'm 21 I'm trying to lead an artist life of maturity yet still manage to maintain my spark.

Hold on, I gotta go check my taquitos. (For some reason my computer dislikes the spelling of Taquito, I wonder if I'm spelling it wrong.)
